More Book Resources

Many people have reached out since my last post about what other books and resources I have used over the years to learn and make progress in my personal and professional life.  Here are a few of my favorite books that I’ve read multiple times over the years and go back to when I need a reset.

In no particular order:

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill – This classic reminds me that if you put your mind to it anything can be accomplished.  This book has stood the test of time and so many others have been based of it.

Choose Yourself by James Altucher – It’s the five year anniversary of the publication of this book and I recently re-read it.  Altucher is a great story teller and this book is truly about creating your best possible life.

The Start Up of You by Reid Hoffman and Ben Casnocha – Similar to Choose Yourself, it’s a book about maximizing your career and how to be in an entrepreneurial mindset even if you work for a company.

A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink – I tend to be a left brain thinker but this book has helped tap into another part of my mind and has made me more creative.

The Virgin Way by Richard Branson – This is a great book about his businesses, philosophies on life and work.  I learned so much about problem solving and allowing  colleagues to thrive.

Know Your Why by Simon Sinek – All great businesses need a reason to be in business.  This book and it’s successor book Find Your Why help you understand and articulate it to yourself, employees and your customers.

There are so many more but you get the idea.  What books have made a profound impact on you from a business/personal perspective?
