DFP does not sell your personal information.

  • Service providers that assist DFP in providing or administering advisory services, including client relationship management systems, financial planning technology providers, document management and cloud service providers, electronic communications and archiving providers, billing and payment providers, cybersecurity providers, and other technology or professional service providers;

  • Financial institutions, custodians, attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, or other professionals involved in servicing your financial needs when appropriate;

  • Your authorized representative, agent, or holder of a valid power of attorney;

  • Other persons or entities when we have your consent or authorization;

  • A successor or other party in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, transfer, or reorganization of all or a portion of DFP’s business; and

  • Regulators, government agencies, law enforcement authorities, or other persons when disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

We do not share your contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

If DFP changes its privacy practices in a manner that creates additional rights or disclosure obligations under applicable law, DFP will provide appropriate notice and any required opportunity to limit such disclosure.

 

How We Protect Your Personal Information

DFP restricts access to client information to persons and service providers who have a legitimate business need for the information.

We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect confidential personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

DFP also evaluates service providers that handle confidential client information and seeks to use providers with appropriate confidentiality, privacy, and information-security safeguards.

 

Former Clients

This Privacy Policy continues to apply after our advisory relationship with you ends. DFP will continue to protect nonpublic personal information regarding former clients in accordance with applicable law and will retain records for the period required by applicable law.
